The buyer will develop a range of men’s footwear/safety wear and by working with factories to create designs, regularly comp shopping and maintaining competitor knowledge will ensure the ranges are kept fresh and up to date. 

 

The buyer will be required to source new suppliers worldwide to ensure the most effective supply base and will visit factories worldwide where needed; excellent negotiation skills are therefore also required. 

 

With a strong buying background built in the men’s footwear sector or alternatively from buying safety/workwear clothing ranges applicants must have a full appreciation of certification methods and the implementation of any necessary regulations as well as having a thorough understanding of quality guidelines.
